UIRA UPDATE NO 26. A CURVY COCKPIT, A GRACEFUL HATCHWAY, BRONZE CRANSE & GAMMON IRON, A SAMSON POST, SPRUCE BOWSPRIT, PATTERNS FOR CATHEADS AND CHAIN PLATES, JUST ADD ENDLESS HULL FAIRING AND GALLONS OF VARNISH AND THAT BAILEY SCROLL! With the Australian Wooden Boat Festival fast approaching it's been a crazy busy time at the shed amplified by four year since the last festival in 2019. With so much going on and the recreation of so many components needed for a respectable Victorian Racing Yacht it has been difficult to take in all the activities, so I'll allow the photos to do the talking! CWB can not express enough our thanks to Wayne Olsen of Horizon Boats for sending over the ditch some of the his beautiful patterns made during the restoration of the UIRA'S older sibling the 1895 C&W Bailey 5 Rater IDA!
